Anne had finally made it back to London, the stupid portkey system not working like she'd hoped. Still, it wasn't as if she was stuck flying commercial airliners. THAT would have been the worst.

Approaching the Winchester Mansion, Anne bit her lip. She knew how she looked, hair all twisted up formal, her dress positively ancient, the tiara... and her glow, the part of her godhood that made her skin perfect and nearly translucent, was gone.

Knocking on Sam's door, she took a deep breath. She was exhausted.

He hummed his happiness into her hair, taking a deep breath before closing his eyes and finding an easier sleep than he had in days.

"Mine." He murmured, before he drifted off, holding her close enough with the intention to never, ever let her go again.
