Faith held the baby up and wrinkled her nose. "I think he needs his diaper changed." She said, immediately thrusting him into Solvei's arms. What? She could be Auntie Faith. One day. One day when the boy was old enough to go out and have his first beer. Then, Faith would gladly buy it for him and hang out with the kid but until then? She wasn't exactly sure what to do with a baby. She left the babying to Sol and Dean and Emily and Sam.

Still, she had to admit it. The kid was cute. He had good genes working in his favor though so Faith had no doubts John was going to grow up to be the manwhore that his father used to be.

Not that she needed another reason to be there. Solvei had asked and she'd come just like she knew she would. Faith never had much in the way of family or friends in the world and so the few people she did have she kept close to her. Even if she wasn't always the most social or friendly of people. Sol, Emily, Sam and Dean seemed to accept her the way she was and that was enough for her.

"Dude, gross." She remarked as Sol changed his diaper. "I'm never havin' kids."

Solvei took John from Faith when he was thrust into her arms. Smiling a knowing smile at her she took him and laid him down to change his diaper. It was definitely a stinky one.

She laughed at what Faith said, "Watch out. You might jinx yourself. Did you ever think that me or Dean would have kids before I got preggers?" It was definitely a funny thought to think back to the two of them. She'd never in a million years guess back then that she'd end up having a kid. Really, she never wanted one. Plus before Dean had gotten with Sol, he was practically the world's biggest manwhore.

Even though it'd only been a few days she couldn't imagine not having John in her life. After she got done changing John's diaper she handed him back to Faith and went to go throw the dirty diaper away.

"Boo." Faith frowned in John's face but he only baby gurgled at her and stared. "How long 'til this thing starts talkin'?" Faith asked, putting on an extra grumble after she found herself momentarily smiling at the baby.

She still had a rep to maintain. Even around cute babies.

"And no, I never thought you'd be poppin' out brats but you two were way more likely to have 'em than I am." Faith said, and for more than one reason. Dean was a family guy by nature. All you had to do was look at the relationship he had with his brother to see that.

Plus, Faith was kind of gay. She tried to picture her and Emily having a baby and she frowned. Actually, Emily with one made sense which was the reason that "relationship" was never going to last.

"Real words? I think around two, two and a half something like that. Emily would probably know more about that then I would. This is the first baby I've been around." Sol plopped down on the couch next to Faith. She really thought that Faith with John was one of the cutest things she'd ever seen. But she wasn't going to tell her that.

"Why?" The thing was, Sol could see Faith having kids. Maybe it was just 'cause she knew that there was a softy underneath that rough exterior. Not soft as in weak, but soft as in she cared. She cared a lot more then she'd ever admit to.

"Besides, if anything ever happened to us you're who I'd pick to look out for John." Shrugging she looked over at Faith.

"You're out of your mind." Faith told her friend, cradling John in one arm as Solvei sat down next to her. She couldn't figure out why she was the one holding the baby. Solvei really seemed to buy into the idea that Faith could be nice or normal. "First off, nothing's gonna happen to you or Dean. Second, if it does? John is better off with Sam and Emily."

She handed John back to Solvei and pulled her legs up so she was sitting Indian style next to her friend on the couch. She was still a little sore from sleeping in the car last night so she took the opportunity to stretch her back a little bit.

"So what's the deal? Not that it's not good to see you and the kid and all but what's going on?" Faith asked her curiously.

Sol cradled John in her arms after Faith handed him to her. She smiled down at the baby and started making faces at him. The doctor said that it was just gas when he smiled now but Sol didn't care. She thought that John was smiling at her.

"Faith. You know about us and once word gets out to all the demons and everything that one of the number one hunters and a slayer have a kid you know they'll be gunning for us. It's only a matter of time. Sam and Emily can't keep John safe if anything happens. You can. Promise me. Just in case something does, that you'll look after him."

Turning her gaze to her friends she was serious. She was more serious with her then she'd ever been.

It hadn't escaped Faith's attention that Solvei hadn't answered the question but she didn't bother asking again. There was usually a reason if Sol didn't say anything and Faith just shrugged. "Dude, you know I will." She reassured her friend. It wasn't like she wouldn't step up and make sure the kid was safe. That was the easy part, that was the part she could handle. It was all the other baby stuff that was a little more difficult.

"I promise." Faith finally said, looking up at Solvei's eyes when she said it just so that she would see how serious she was. These moments were few and far between and Faith didn't really do the sappy emotional moments so she quickly moved past it.

Putting her boots up on the coffee table she picked up the TV Guide and started flipping through it. She had it open halfway when Jack reached out for it, his little pudgy fingers barely closing around one page.

"Hmmm. Knightrider fan, huh?" She asked him, raising an eyebrow in his direction.
