"It just doesn't feel like you do anymore.." she said softly with her back turned towards him. Maybe she'd hurt him more then she'd thought, (not that she'd been trying to, she just was going with how she felt) when she heard him turn and leave the room. She sighed and continued to pack slowly, figuring he wasn't going to come back until she heard the sound of his footsteps again. She'd been about to tell him to just stop when he spoke and she turned around to see what it was.
Pepper stared down at the ring, and then back up at him, and then the ring again, she didn't know quite what to say, or what to do. "Tony..." she began, not quite sure how to handle that either. "I don't think jewelry is going to fix this.."
