Letting out a breath, Dean rubbed the back of his head while he looked down at the dog before eventually leaning down to pet her. "Nah, it's cool," he assured him and rubbed her head before standing back up and looking over at his brother. Something was eating him up, he just didn't know what and honestly, he didn't know how to just come right out and ask him, so he didn't. Not yet anyway.
"No, yeah, why wouldn't I wanna see you?" He felt bad about not taking him out to Vegas with them in the first place, but he was just trying to straighten things out. Unfortunately, the straightening out part, didn't exactly turn out right, as in nothing got straightened out.
"Uh, there's beer in the fridge and vodka if you want some. The whiskey's gone." Yeah, Dean remembered the night before and the deadly game of 'Never have I ever.' Yeah, he wasn't playing that again. He always lost. Although, he did find out some interesting things about Emily.
"Aright, how about we cut the awkward crap. Yeah, I'm the future, but you're my brother. No matter what time period you're from, which really isn't that far behind me. You guys just seemed to get the lucky break, if that's even the case." Yeah, things were shitty then too and seemed to just get worse. He wasn't gonna say how shitty. Why bring it up if they don't gotta live through it, or you know, die through it.
"So yeah, this place is up and paid for. Dad's friend took care of it, I guess, I dunno," he shrugged and resorted to rubbing the back of his head again.
