Shang Tsung knew it was Sonya, because he read into her soul, however she was obviously younger... and not pregnant anymore. His heart skipped a beat. "Well Sonya," he said, for once he was speechless.

"My name is Shang Tsung, and I'm your husband... but obviously something isn't right here. I'm not sure what could have happened though. You're... younger, and your memory has been erased obviously."

He realized that he was babbling, and quickly shut up.
