Anne watched his continued progress and regress across the floor. When he finally sat down on the edge of the tub, she eased onto the porcelain next to him. Shaking her head at the question, she sighed and looked down.
"I'm sorry." It was said softly before she leaned just a little and rested her head on his shoulder. "It's not that bad here and you know ME. I mean," she added, lifting her head to look at him, "not exactly, but you can trust me and who I am."
