Reinette made her way to Cardiff with a rather hesitant smile on her face. She was quite certain that Jack and the rest of the people in the house would not be angry with her for going to visit the Doctor. She should have left a note, but she was in such a hurry to see him that she had rushed out of the house without a second thought.

Even now, she had to take the slow path. It felt like ages before she finally walked up to the blue box that she had seen so much in her dreams. Ever since she saw it, first in his mind, she had been able to stop thinking about it or him. Even now, when she could not stop thinking of Ianto and everything else, the Doctor always seemed to creep back into her thoughts.

Hesitantly, she approached, knocking on the door.

Throwing open the door, the Doctor was first hit by a bright bit of sunlight. The second thing he noticed was the gold of Reinette's hair. The third thing he noticed was... Cardiff.

Of the three, the most impressive, of course, was Reinette's hair. Spun gold, really, and he grinned as he took in the rest of her. "Oh, Reinette, a sight for sore eyes is what you are."

And he swept her up in a giant hug.

"Doctor..."

She warmly hugged him, easily wrapping her arms around him as she did so. No longer was she dressed in long gowns, though she did have the one she arrived in. Today, she was dressed in a rather casual blue dress and strappy sandals. She really had to thank Lyssa for help with clothing. Her hair hung down as well, no longer having to wear it up like she used to.

And it was surprising to her. He looked like he hadn't aged a day. Again.

"Hello Doctor," she said warmly.

She looked amazing. And of course, like SHE hadn't aged a day and, dressed as she was, she looked incredible.

"Look at you!" The Doctor stood back and held her hands out from her body so he could get a better look. A very long, better look. His trademark grin took over his face again and he said, "Who knew you were hiding such wonderful legs underneath all those skirts?" And he yanked her close again.

"Doctor, I do not believe that you would say such a thing. When already, you know I have never hidden anything from you. You have seen all of me, at every angle. My legs, hidden as they may have been, were clear to you."

She smiled a coy little smirk at him, though, and clearly enjoyed it when he took his look at her. Swaying her hips just a bit, she seemed to dance with delight at the way he was looking her over. Or perhaps it was just happiness to see him once more.

"And you..." She eyed him up and down. "In your fine suit and your giddy smile, you are as wonderful to behold as you ever were. Shall we go inside or continue to linger in doorways. Not that I mind doorways..."
