Who: Ganieda and Belle

Ganieda got up from the computer and went to find her things for going out. Just in case they went out, of course. Belle seemed like a sweet woman, and she hoped that they'd get along well. Ganieda tried to be good at making people feel at ease; unfortunately, since coming here, her role needed to be changed around, so that she was the one being made to fee at ease.

	Belle knocked loudly on the front door. She was, after all, polite. Well, she could pretend she was, anyway. After hearing Merlin talk about Ganieda, she'd decided it might be best to tone down her modern and exuberant attitude. If she could. She wasn't sure. 	It is certainly ordinary. And a little shabby, truth be told. The Davies family unit is not very wealthy at all. Ganieda has promised herself she will change that. 	It's not a particularly wealthy neighborhood, not at all, and stores with signs in Spanish and English dominate. There are street vendors and sometimes buskers, though that is normally on the weekend. "I'm sorry your brother died." She can't imagine being wholly without her brother. "I'm sorry. My father was one of the greatest men I've ever known. Though I suppose if he didn't stick around, yours might not fall into that category."

She thought for a moment. "Hard. My life was planned out f'r me, down to what my children's names would be, and who the father of them would be, from the moment I was christened. Even though the intended groom changed down the line, the plan was always simple. I would marry t' further our power, and Julien would take over de guild. I'm almost glad things worked out how they did, but even more glad to be away from it all here."
