"Speaking of warm weather..." Although the air conditioning seemed to be on, she pulled off a jacket she'd had on and draped it over a chair. She let the door swing shut once Jamie was inside with their bags.
The suite was a good size for two people. Not too roomy, but not one of those hotel rooms that made you feel a bit cramped either. Just inside was a small kitchenette with a few amenities, eating area, and a door to a small half-bath. Past the kitchenette was a cozy but roomy area with a sofa and an armchair in front of a TV and entertainment center, and a working desk with chairs sat in the corner. A sliding door led onto a small balcony which had, well, an okay view of the city. Off to the right was a door leading into the bedroom, where a large bed was in the middle, flanked by two nightstands holding lamps. Another desk sat in the corner. And finally, there was a door leading to a larger bathroom with the shower.
"The suite really isn't bad," Mia said appraisingly. "I almost prefer this than whatever we'd been going to get."
