What: Dean Winchester and Bela Talbot's surprise engagement party
Where: Bobby Singer and Mira's back yard

Bobby had gotten up early to go pick up the kegs and get the grill ready to go. He really had no idea who or how many people would show up. He thought that he and Mira had bought enough to feed and water a decent sized army. Besides the usual burgers, brats and beer he had gotten some chicken to grill for Bela. Also, he made sure that he got a few different kinds of juice since he knew that Anne didn't drink.

After putting a sign out at the end of the long driveway he walked to the back yard. He hoped that all would go smooth and this would be a good party. He also hoped that everyone would have a good time but especially Dean and Bela. Things hadn't been exactly smooth sailing for them or anyone else in the family after their engagement. This party would be a step in the right direction, at least he hoped so anyways.

	Mira was actually a little bit nervous all on her own. This party would be her first introduction to the Winchester family. If they were anything like her Mandalorian family, they'd be very protective of their own. She was flitting about from item to item, waiting for anyone to show up. After a while she popped the top off of a beer and sat down to wait. (Reply to this) (Thread)

	Bobby sat down besides Mira and grabbed a beer from one of the coolers not wanting to start the kegs just yet. "Hope Sam and Anne can get the guests of honor here without problems. If I forget to say it later, thanks." He gave her a sideways smile. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Bela checked the address written on her hand and headed toward the backyard. It felt a bit mad to be in Bobby's yard, of all things, but when she'd gotten the note about Bobby and his lady friend finding a lead she'd be interested in, well, she'd portkeyed awfully fast. (Reply to this) (Thread)

Sam had basically followed his father's rule of whenever you have to lie, you stick as close to the truth as possible.

Which was why Dean was hefting a case of beer on his shoulder, following Sam like a good puppy into Bobby's backyard for a picnic. Anne was walking in front of him, carrying some sort of dish that she'd made for the party and Sam was carting Dean's music collection. He tried to make it into the yard before Dean did, though, so he could be a part of the yelling 'surprise!'

	Anne had made it but she wasn't sure it was edible, really. So much for trying to be more normal. As soon as no one was looking? She was so changing it into something amazing. Bela only deserved the best. After setting it down, she turned to look at Sam, raising an eyebrow. Celebrating engagements was new to her, but she loved the boys' parties. (Reply to this) (Parent)

	Bobby gave Sam and Anne a look since this all obviously didn't go as planned. 'Cause Bela had already gotten here but so much for the surprise thing. "Hey everybody. Glad you're here." He motioned Mira over. "This is Mira." He then pointed to Sam, Anne, and Dean and introduced all of them. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Dean blinked. Bobby hadn't been exaggerating - the redhead was gorgeous. He took her hand and shook it, grinning. "Nice to meet the woman who snagged Bobby." That was probably a more difficult feat than he thought. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Mira smiled in return and shook the offered hand with a firm grip. "Likewise, I've heard a lot about all of you." She smiled back at Bobby and was glad that everybody seemed genuinely happy at the party. No anxiousness at all. (Reply to this) (Parent)
