After he left, Lulu turned her back to the television, toes curling against the soft bedcovers. She figured that if she was going to be performing magic at a musical concert, she'd need to do it on a smaller scale. To that end, she'd started a series of practice exercises to control the scope of her spells. She probably didn't need the practice, but she didn't want to look around Skwisgaar's bedroom without him being there.
When he came back, she was working hard to control black flickering darkness coming from all ten of her fingertips, working on making it swell slightly then recede. She sat up a bit, the spell immediately forgotten when she saw how pale he was.
"Are you all right? You look...worried." She bit her lip, propping herself up on her elbows.
