"Well from what you told me, I doubt the former master of the house ever really had a living, naked woman in his bed." Sonya ran her fingers lightly over his back.

She sighed at the mention of work. "Tomorrow's.." She remembers the date. "Fourth of July, no real meetings but a lot of patriotic ceremonies and soldiers bringing their families for the picnic." There was a hint of annoyance in her voice, the ceremonies where all well and good-she just wasn't crazy for having to put up with everyone else's kids.
