Shang Tsung smiled again. “You never saw yourself getting married? Neither did I to be honest, I thought of myself as above such an archaic, and foolish tradition. To be honest, I’m not sure what overcame me when I took you as my bride. Perhaps it was a way to justify bringing you back to life?”
Shang Tsung paused for a moment, and took a bite of dinner. “You know, I wondered what kind of sorcery brought us here, but now I know what is was. It was fate, do you know what I’m saying? I don’t know what we are meant to accomplish here, but we can’t have been brought here for nothing. Or perhaps I’m just trying to flatter myself…”
