If Sonya had had any food in her mouth at the time, she would've surely chocked at what he just said. As it was, she was merely rendered speechless-which in of itself was rather impressive.
It wasn't what he said about her spirit, she had known that from the get-go, but how he said it.
If he asked, she would outright deny that she was blushing-it was the spices in the vegetables, really. She put her chopsticks down a moment.
"Mileena does have issues, but I imagine they're mostly 'daddy issues'..." She noted the barrier. "No, but then again, I never saw myself getting married as a child. I only saw myself as a war hero, like my father was to me-worried the hell out of my mother."
That's it...talk about her own past..less awkward that way. She took a few bites of rice and vegetables.
