On any given day, Pietro tried very hard to avoid human contact. He didn't do simple things if he could help it, often pestering Dominic into getting groceries or doing chores that required interaction with people who weren't Wanda or Luna. But sometimes Pietro was forced to do menial tasks, jobs that were so very below him, and on these days, he was often cranky and unpleasant.

Crankier and more unpleasant than usual.

He was on the streets of London when he spotted green hair in the distance. Of course he'd bump into Lorna on his way home. He didn't quite hate his half siblings as much as he could have, but he certainly didn't hold them close to his heart. There was a number of reasons for this, starting with the fact that they seemed to like Magneto and ending with the fact that they were terribly boring to him. Making a face, he purposely ignored her, but didn't speed up. He didn't want to give off the impression that he was running from her.

Lorna was bouncy. Very bouncy. And whistling, albeit badly. There was no way anything could spoil her good mood today. Nothing could get to her.

Well, almost nothing. She didn't immediately recognize Pietro, having never seen him in person. But the look on his face, combined with the fact that his face was vaguely built like Erik's made her suspicious.

Still, better not to say anything. There wasn't exactly any love lost between them, and really, she doubted her effervescent bounciness would see her through this.

	He couldn't quite help himself. It was a problem, his being an asshole. He just couldn't quit. And as he passed her and realized she wasn't going to even acknowledge his presence, he felt the words form. "Very polite, Lorna," he said, rolling his eyes and looking vaguely amused. 	Pietro liked upsetting people. So when she looked him over and used that tone, he grinned. He slowed his step, "Not overjoyed to see me, then?" He was almost charming when he was being insufferable. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	She'd caught his interest. He wouldn't have come to a full stop otherwise. Giving her a Look, he shook his head some. "Right." Family that wasn't Wanda or Luna made him oddly uneasy. He just didn't trust people. After all Magneto had done to him, it was difficult for him to have faith that they weren't going to betray him or hurt him somehow. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

She ran her hand through her hair, wishing the feeling of absurdity would go away. The ring on her left hand was new enough that it still caught her eye, though she tried her best to minimize her reaction. "Alright, that was a bit over the top. But I did want to meet you, if only once."

Sure, he was probably just as much of an asshole in person as he was online, but there had to be something worthy of the loyalty he inspired in Luna and Wanda. Neither of them seemed the type to stick around someone just because they were family.

	"Obviously more witty reparte." She noted with a snerk. "I dunno, I'm just out to deposit my check today. Didn't even think you were in London." She shrugs. 	"I wasn't." Pietro moved from place to place. With his powers they way they were, he could travel across most of Europe in a day's time or less. "Well, now you've met me. Can I go?" 	"If you want." She said with a shrug. She hadn't asked him to come, after all. "But if you're going to hang out, then we should go someplace less hot when we inevitably decide to be assholes to each other. Assholery is greatly improved when both parties are comfortable." 	He only murmured in response, a little scowl on his face. They were almost getting along. It was weird to get along with her. He wasn't quite sure he wanted to.
