At his next question, she turns stoic.
"Yes...and no. It's a career I've trained for almost all my life. My father was in the military and so, I wanted to enter as well. Working in the Special Forces, I go after the dangerous sort already inside my country. I enjoy the responsibility, the idea that I'm able to protect my people. What I don't enjoy are the plans that don't follow exactly as they should, the soldiers KIA whose families I have to face and explain to.I don't enjoy the nagging feeling that come next time, someone I think of as a brother..or more..might not be there the next time." She pauses, blinking. "I'm sorry, don't know why I babbled that far."
