After getting Sweeney's message that he had something for her, Sadako hailed a taxi and paid the driver extra to hurry it up. She all but leaped out of the taxi, smile tugging at the corner of her lips.

She was excited, and she shifted from foot to foot after she knocked on the door.

Sweeney had been up all night long, and it showed. He was pale and his eyes had darker circles around them than usual, but it wasn't all in vain. After all, he had spent a great deal of that time awake preparing and making the gift.
He opened the door and offered his hand to her with a smile, "You certainly were in a rush." He pressed a kiss to the back of her hand and whisked her inside, "Come along. I've been very busy, and very excited to show you this."

He closed the door behind her.

	Sadako was more worried with his immediate appearance. She tiptoed up to kiss him on the cheek after she was inside. "Let me make you some coffee, Sweeney. You look like you might fall over." (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

"I'm fine." He insisted, pressing a kiss to her neck, bending over just slightly to do so. "Have a seat. I'll get your gift." His mind was shadows and ghosts once more, darkly focused on one thing alone. Creation. He'd destroyed so much, it was now time for him to make up for it all.

He slipped through the hallway, and then brought out the wooden box with him, sitting down beside Sadako before taking a deep breath, and sighing it out. He handed her the box, and looked to her face.

"A creation."

	Sweeney slid his fingers across her fingertips, "In light of recent events that I've decided to change my ways somewhat, I decided upon one simple thing. I've asked you to be mine, and you accepted. 	Sadako blinked, then nodded. She couldn't stop smiling. How long had it been since she'd gotten flutters in her stomach from simply being around a man? She turned so her back was facing him, still trying to still her beating heart. "Thank you. I haven't been someone's in a very long time. And I'm hopeless with my hair, you'll find. 	He slid down to sit beside her once more, looking into her eyes, "You've got such a lovely neck, as well, it would be a shame to keep it covered, pet." But to her question, he paused in thought. The barber looked a little less like a zombie, and he ran a comb through his hair (Which, although was messy and wild naturally, still needed a great deal of upkeep to even stay the way it was,) before wandering into the kitchen to go get himself some tea to wake up.
