A few minutes later, he swung in the door, grinning, and was in her arms, a moment later, holding her tight.
"We're in business."
He kissed her softly.
"We're possibly insane, possibly very odd, but, we are in business."
He ordered drinks and some munchies and headed with her toward a back booth, one guaranteed by the manager to be private. Not that Alex believed it. As soon as they sat down, he placed a small walnut shaped object on the table and pressed it. Nothing visible happened, but any machines listening to them would find themselves utterly blocked from hearing a thing.
