Sammy woke up. He popped his thumb out of his mouth and sat up. The sunshine ws shining, so it was okay to make sounds.

"Dee!" He called, looking around and seeing his brother asleep on the bed. Sammy pulled himself up on the blankets of Dean's bed, and getting a foot on the rail of his bed to push up with. He was cold, anyway. His jammies were gone. Slowly he crawled up the bed and finding his brother, he plopped down on his stomach and shouted.

"Wakey uppie, Dee!" Sammy bounced a few times.

	Dean groaned and burrowed into the blankets more, rolling away from the source of gut trauma. "'Ammy, I'm leepy." Then he sat up and blinked. "Hey, 'ammy. You're ... big." Bela had been almost completely under the covers, sound asleep in yesterday's clothes. When the noise had gone off - in a rather earsplitting manner, next to her ear - she'd bolted awake, head whipping toward the source of the sound.

... an older child? Bloody hell, was Sam going to age a year or two every day? What a long month it would be.

Still, she tried her best to look nice, to not look frightening. "Mmph."

Sammy bounced a few more times on Dean, determined to not get unseated and to make sure Dean got up. Someone else made a noise in the bed....and it wasn't a Daddy noise.

OH.

GOSH!

"DEE!" Sammy shrieked and dove forward, scrambling to hide somewhere behind the lump that was his brother in the bed, but he needed to get Dean away from the stranger first! "MONSER!!!" He screamed, pulling on Dean's hand.

	"Ewwwwwwwww!" Sammy screamed and jumped up and down on Dean. "Ucky!" He stopped at looked at her, though. She kinda looked like scary, a little bit, but Dean said she was just a girl and not a monster. He hid behind Dean's arm and peeked at her. "Who's you?" He piped up, being incredibly shy. 	Dean 'oof'ed faintly at the toddler jumping on him, laughing and ruffling his hair. He pulled Sam into his lap, wrapping both arms around him, letting Bela answer for herself. He couldn't resist resting his chin on Sam's head and making mookie eyes at Bela. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Dean nodded. "To eat now." He snuggled Sam and then went to find something the little guy could wear. He didn't have any toddler clothes lying around, but he did have a diaper. He jogged out to grab a diaper, then came back and diapered the little guy up. For clothes, he put Sam in one of his old t-shirts, tying off the long part so Sam wouldn't trip.

"What do you want to eat, 'ammy?"

	Bela watched him, still uncomfortable, but climbing out of bed and stretching. She went without a word to Dean's closet, looking for at least a different shirt to wear with her jeans. 	That was right about when Che shuffled to the doorway, rubbing her eyes, "Christ, what's all the yelling about? I could hear it all the way over in my... oh." "Durt." Sammy said, examining the thing. "Okey-dokey." His little head bobbed, curls going everywhere. He studied Che for a bit. She looked nice, really she did, but strangers were strangers and Sammy didn't like them too much. He hid behind Dean's legs and peeked through.

"Hi, Day." He said, popping his thumb in his mouth. "Dee? To eat now?" He pulled on Dean's shorts, to get his attention.

It was right about then that Anne entered the kitchen, her yawn hid by her hand. Yes, she was wearing pajamas, Dean. Pajama pants, a tank and a robe, to be exact. Her eyes widened and then narrowed slightly as she took in the sight of Sam, now in toddler phase.

"Huh. He wasn't like that last night when I looked in on you guys." She bit her lip and crouched down. "Hi, Sam."

	Sammy kept his pose of hiding behind his brother's legs. There were so many strangers in his house, and it was starting to upset him. His lower lip wibbled out as he clung to Dean's thigh for dear life and fear of everything. "Dee?" he asked, voice wobbly and watery. "Where Daddy? Up, now. Dee? Up." Dean winced. "Sorry, guys. It's not... he's just not used to anyone but me and Dad being around." He picked up his little brother, and set him on the counter. "Dad's out at work. So you know what? It's up to us to feed all of these nice ladies. Think you can help me with the waffles? It's hard work, but I think you can do it. You're strong, right?" Dean flexed, waiting for Sam to follow suit.

Bela came down the stairs not long afterward, just in time to hear that tiny question from the child. She winced, ready to beat a hasty retreat if it started shrieking, but then her eyes lit on one of the few people she genuinely called friend, even more than Che.

"Anne!" Bela waved, face a study in relief and panic at the same time. Thank God. Another person just as confused and scared as she was. Dean was far too calm.

"Okie, Dee. I helps." Sammy made a muscle, just like his brother did.

He was shyly peeking at the girls, though, when he thought they weren't looking. He thought Anne looked pretty. He heloed Dean make the frozen waffles, just the way he liked them. Not mushy in the middle. That was nucky.

"Lella want wafflses?" Sammy bravely toddled over to her and tugged on her pants.

	She didn't particularly, but she still felt trapped, so she nodded and sat down. "Thank you, Sammy." This was beyond weird, especially in Anne's presence, but still. "Bela."

Anne moved to stand next to her as she stared at Sam in concerned awe. The name 'Sammy' would never again have quite the same meaning to her and she winced as she thought about the way she'd used it in times past. Shaking her head, she noticed the look on Bela's face and blinked.

Speaking low, she asked, "How are you with the-" And made a wavy hand motion toward the guys as they started breakfast.

	Bela nodded at Che in reply, thanking her for the coffee - she seldom imbibed, but today it was perhaps called for. In reply to Anne, she just laughed, but any fool could tell there was no mirth in it. "Touch and go," she murmured, but Anne was smart enough to see the nerves, if not read her mind for them. Bobby decided to go see how Dean was dealing with baby Sammy and maybe lend a hand. He decided against ringing the bell just in case for some reason baby Sammy was still sleeping and Dean was getting some much needed rest.

Hearing commotion from the kitchen he headed to the back. "Mornin' everybody. Thought I'd come and lend a hand if need be. Guess there's plenty of hands around. Che? Did I hear coffee?"

Looking around he saw... Sam wasn't no baby anymore. He was a toddler. "Sammy! You got big!" He wasn't sure on whether or not the toddler would even recognize him but it was kinda amusing to Bobby to see a sight that he'd never see again.

She had already gotten the larger coffeepot out of the cabinet anyway, just in case, measuring out the grounds carefully, "He's not sure what to do with all the people around." 	Sammy was busy helping Dean when yet another person came to his house. But this person wasn't a stranger, because he remembered this person. He let go of Dean's shorts and ran full tilt to Bobby, big wide open grin on his face. "Nuncle 'obby!" He cried, lifting his arms to go up. If Uncle Bobby was here, Daddy couldn't be too far behind. "Didn't think you all would mind me bargin' in."

Bobby was surprised that baby Sammy remembered him but he couldn't help but grin at him as he came tottering over. Bobby remembered what the other baby Sam liked. He picked him up under his shoulders and tossed him into the air a few inches. Then he lifted his shirt up and blew raspberries on his tummy before holding him against his shoulder.

"You sleep okay kiddo?"

Bobby couldn't help but laugh a bit at the toddler's reaction to Dean and Bela sleeping in the same room with one another. He really didn't want to think about it but he said anyway, "Girls are definitely good for that. You'll find out when you're a little older, no doubt."

When Sam put his hand on his face he pretended like he was going to bite it. "Waffles sound okay but not as good as Sammy hand!" Bobby made growling noises and went after his hand again.

Bobby did notice the baby mentioning his Daddy and he tried to distract the toddler with something else. There was no way he was going to go down that road with him. Plus, he didn't know what Dean had told him about John not being around.

	"Girls are nucky." Sammy told his uncle, incase he didn't know before Bobby tried to eat Sammy's hand. Sammy giggled and shrieked like a maniac.
