James was playing it cool. Or, that what he wanted to do. The nervous energy of meeting a Lily he recognized was overwhelming. In the back of his head, he was wondering how the mates would handle her, if she would put up with him again, how he should break the bad news of their future to her.
But before he drove himself mad with all the questions, he pushed that aside and got himself to the train station. He apparated with a loud crack, not bothering for stealth. Lily would need to find him in the middle of a crowded station anyway.
When he spotted a familiar head of red hair in the distance, his face split into a wide grin. The sight of her was enough to make him catch his breath.
