[omg it's an OPEN log]
who. Weevil and [OPEN]
what. Getting away for a bit.
when. NYC

A fruitless search for Lilly meant one of two things. Either she was gone for good, or she'd run out to have some fun. There wasn't any real way to be sure of where she'd gone and instead of drive himself mad over the possibilities, Weevil had picked himself up and left the office without so much as a word of warning.

He worked with Veronica now, almost completely legit. Never in want of money, Weevil found that his life had grown dull. He wasn't happy. He was bored. Even the job of a detective, something he genuinely enjoyed, seemed boring here.

It almost made him want to go back to the old days. Back to California. Back to the gang. Back to stealing cars for profit. And fun. It was a warm day, so Weevil went walking. He left the nice neighborhood and headed for the shitty part of town. He was looking for some fun. Each car he passed, he thought about how easy it'd be to break into, hotwire, take apart.
