Smiling at him when he said that he liked the fact that she was tiny. She'd really been joking with him all along. The fact that she was small had gotten her out of a lot of bad situations. Either by the obvious of being able to squeeze into small spaces where others could not. Or the fact that most of her foes underestimated her. She liked that she could get the upper hand on a fight that way. "Good."
"Eh, the vamps you gotta look out for but just the regular dead people, not so much. They kinda just lay there." She winced at her own bad pun but she was feeling punny tonight. She couldn't really help it.
"Oh really?" She spoke now in a low voice to him now that they were inside the cemetery. "What other situations could you be talking about Mr. Rayner?" After looking around to make sure that they were alone she stood on tiptoe to say into his ear in a husky voice as she put a hand on his shoulder. "We are talking about your first night fighting the vampires with me? Aren't we?" Feigning innocence she went back on her heels and continued to walk. Yes, she was teasing him in a different way now. But she really liked it.
