"So you're the two kids I've been hearing about. Charlie and Emma, you've gotta be two of the bravest people around." Fighting a long side the Justice League, flying for the first time, seeing the stars, all of those were great feelings. But it was almost impossible to replicate the feeling you got when you made kids smile. When you saw how genuinely happy they were. It made your spirit soar, best kind of medication for any problem you were facing, and that wasn't an exaggeration.
Moving closer to the bed, he looked down at the three of them, he'd never stopped smiling. He was trying to answer all of the questions, a long with Sol. "She's a different kind of super hero, that's all. Just as special and just as great." Kyle, more than anything, wanted them to know how great Sol was. How amazing what she did was, he wasn't trying to diminish it at all, just the opposite.
When Charlie asked if he'd ever kissed her when he was glowing with his mask on, his mouth opened in surprise, but he recovered quickly. "Not yet." He said with a wink, but didn't push it beyond that, he was just trying to keep the mood light, it was the best thing for all of them.
When asked if he could fly, he arched an eyebrow before nodding his head. "Would you like a demonstration?" Without waiting for an answer, he floated up into the air before gliding around in a small circle. "When you're both feeling better, and if you're nice to the nurses and doctors, I'll take you flying."
