"Sounds like we're in the same boat." It'd gotten him into trouble a few times, he was usually quick to rush into things, not that it was his intention. Just when the people he cared about were concerned, or any innocent lives, he tended to want to go in there and stop it. He'd always believed in that old saying, he wasn't sure who it belonged to, but it mentioned the worst thing in the world wasn't bad men doing bad things, but good men standing by while they did.
To him, it was just natural to refer to his friends like that, it didn't phase him at all, though he could completely understand her reaction. "Wally West, the Flash, or the guy whose legs work faster than his brain." Kyle said with a slight laugh, he was just kidding, Wally was one of his best friends. "He ended up beating me there, being the Flash and all, but I gave him a run for his money." He hadn't really expected to beat Wally, he had to get air born before he could travel super faster, but still, it'd been pretty close.
"Just sounds like most people are blind then." He wasn't trying to embarass her, or come on to her, the last thing he wanted to do was make her feel uncomfortable. He really did think she was beautiful though, stunningly so.
To Kyle, it had just been hopeful thinking, maybe even conceited thinking, that she'd want to put the painting in her bedroom for that reason. When she actually said that was why, he gave her a stunned looked, not in a bad way, just surprised. "I..the bedroom would be great. I'd be flattered if you wanted to put it in there for that...Not sure I deserve it, but...it means a lot."
