He'd pretty much settled down into the couch for now, one arm wrapped around her while the other trailed his fingers up and down her back lightly. She was talking and his eyes had started to close a little from his exhaustion, but he was paying attention and then she got to that last part. His hand stopped moving as he attempted to process what she'd just offered. "Wait. Alright, you are going to have to run that by me again because I really don't think I understood that right." She couldn't have possibly said what he thought she had.
