One of the beautiful things about being on vacation was that there was no need for an alarm clock. The only reason to get up early was if they had a lot of plans for that day. No concerns for going to work or being apart. It really was a perk as far as Alec was concerned. The thing that woke him up was the loss of warmth from Navi being pressed against him. When she rolled over and told him good morning he lazily cracked one eye open to look in her direction. "Morning." His voice was made deeper by the fact that he was still mostly asleep.
He reached out and slung an arm across her body, not pulling her against him at the moment, but just creating some kind of contact. He was sure she'd learned by now that he usually held on to her when they were sleeping and he still wasn't really that awake yet.
