When he flexed his biceps, she couldn't help but giggle. "Oh, quit showing off. You can do that later, after I whup your butt at the ice cream thing." She grinned and straddled him again, moving to get the back of his neck. She pushed away some of the shaggy hair there, and blinked.
"When did you get this tattoo - oh. Oh, baby. Did they... ?" Her brain worked fast, processing things quickly. He'd said he was part of a military experiment, and she'd seen bar codes on products at stores as part of a cataloguing system. It didn't seem like something Alec would get on his own - especially if he'd been on the lam for any period of time - so it made more sense that the government would've given it to him on purpose.
