One of the reasons that they'd been able to stay an extra week, and it wasn't the only one, was that Alec had won his most recent fight and got a nice bonus for doing so. It'd been a flashy knockout in the second round, sending his undefeated opponent to the mat, and that'd been enough to wow the crowd. Winning had been a thrill, but it didn't even come close to comparing with the feeling that he was experiencing right then.
The sun was beating down on Alec already, just from steping out of the car, and the humidity was thick in the air. It didn't take anything away, it only added to it all, making him want to run and jump in the beach. He'd slung the bags over his shoulders when he saw Navi take off running to the door. The bags hit the sand, it wasn't like they were going anywhere, and he jolted after her, wanting to catch up.
When he got there, she was standing in the entrance hall, looking around at everything, and he found himself doing the same. The flors were beautiful, dark wood, and everything else matched. It was clean, well kept, in perfect condition. When he heard her squeal and start running around, he couldn't help but laugh, smile still stuck on his lips.
He grabbed her from behind and lifted her up, spinning around in a small circle, hlding onto her. "This is amazing, you know that? Two weeks. It's perfect...more than perfect." He said, excitement obvious in his voice, setting her back don on her feet.
