Navi didn't have time to blush at Alec's statements - the car had stopped and Alec was tipping the driver. She got out of the car, grinning at how her tennis shoes crunched over the sand. Immediately she was struck by the heat and the humidity and had the desire to take off some of her clothes. It made sense why lovers came to the Carribean; it was a built in excuse to spend a lot of time in very little clothing.
She looked back behind her shoulder before running to the door of the villa to get it unlocked. She knew he'd chase her, bags or no, and she stopped dead when she got into the entrance hall. It was the kind of house she wanted them to have in the future. The floors were glossy dark wood, and it was decorated with more of the same. Everything was clean and neat, and they'd even put some food in the fridge for her and Alec. She didn't know it, but she looked like a kid at Christmas, running around and squealing.
