Kyle Rayner ([info]thetorchbearer) wrote in [info]utr_logs,
Having someone that cared enough to want to make things better meant a lot, whether it was spoken or not, especially when you hadn't known one another very long. Already he did wish he could improve Solvei's predicament, with all the powers of Ion, it still wasn't possible. He didn't have the ability to make Dean remember her, just as she didn't have the power to bring back his loved ones. They could only deal with what they had, which was each other, and it would be enough.

"Funny thing? I really don't mind being stuck with you. Not in the slightest." It just meant that they were going to be spending more time together, which had really been his goal, and maybe he'd be able to help her move on from the problems that she ha been facing. Already he could feel himself filling with hope again. Of course lack of confidence had never really been one of his short comings, and he couldn't really remember being at a loss of words very often either.

Kyle took the hand that was offered to him, letting her pull him up, and almost immediately into a hug. His own arms wrapped around her small frame, giving her a slight squeeze before releasing, feeling much better already. "Couldn't imagine a better way to spend my night. I'd love to."
