There was a lot of things that Kyle had accomplished in his life, he was thankful for all of them, for any lives that he had saved. But at the same time, he put immense amount of pressure on himself, it came with the territory. It might have made him stronger, but only through trial and error, which was the way that most people learned.
The uncertainty on her face was clear to him, she blamed herself for the things that had happened, and it would be hypocritical for him to tell her otherwise. That didn't mean he believed she deserved it, he knew that she didn't in his heart, she was too good of a person. If it were within his power, his right, to go back and change things, even though they had only known each other for one night, he would.

He turned his head when she did, looking up towards the sky, where it was just starting to lighten, an indication of how long they'd been talking. "Guess time really does fly."
