Th Guardians always stood behind their desire for intergalatic peace, for high morals, and things of that nature, but more often than not, they pissed Kyle off one way or another. It wasn't that he didn't believe they wanted the best, of course they did, but they also didn't realize what humans elt. It pt a certain amount o strain, but he owed a lot to Ganthet, he wouldn't ever forget as much.
There was a lot that he didn't know about her, the way that slaying worked, what kind of training that they went through. It was something that he knew he would learn with time, from asking her questions, from seeing it first hand. He didn't want this to be a one time kinda thing, them hanging out, he wanted to make it regular. She was as new to this place as he was, that gave them a certain kind of bond, and she was a good friend.
"You caught me." He was still smiling, the way she was pouting, even though she was just teasing, he wasn't sure how anyone could say no to her. "But you wanna know what's great? Going to the Fortress of Solitude. The trip kinda sucks, it's out in Antarctica. But Superman? Makes the best hot chocolate ever." Mainly, he just liked to keep her smiling, even if that included sharing little details like that.
"Not directly, but I didn't save them either." That was really how he looked at it. He'd failed all three of them, if he hadn't been the Green Lantern, they wouldn't have died. Or if he had been a better GL, he would have been able to save them. When she held her hand out, he gently reached for it, holding it within his own, just for the support. "When I caught him, I almost killed him. I was ready to do it...but the Justice League showed up...they made sure I didn't."
