Everybody Loves a Wedding!
WHO: Lord Kitt and Catherine Jackson
WHAT: A WEDDING. In the Dark Ages
WHEN: Medieval Day
WHY: According to Kitt: Can you think of a more lavish setting than a castle and ladies in waiting, with horses and carriages and tapestries?
WHERE: The Lord's Manor?
-------------------------------
Kitt had explained it to her: He'd been a Knight, now he was a Lord. She, however, wasn't dressed as a peasant but no one was genuflecting, either. Therefore, she wasn't anyone incredibly special. Also? The looks she got being out and about while alone and pregnant hadn't inspired the best feelings.
After she'd told Kitt that being unmarried was a bit of an issue, he'd said they should get married and... now they were going to.
She followed him inside, smiling to herself when Kitt ordered people around. So amusing. But within an hour, everything was ready, including her dress. Deep red, showing off her ample bosom, she met him in the hall.
"You're sure?"
