"Ow...goddamn it, my head..." they could hear coming from the floor where Tony was laying in a heap. Once he'd shaken his head a couple of times to get himself more alert, Tony climbed to his feet. "Okay, so I am a wuss when it comes to childbirth," he moaned as he headed over to the bed and got down on his knees where he'd originally been.
"We're not going to scar you this go around, kiddo, so you can stand right over there next to your mother and help her while I take care of this." He lifted the gown and took a deep breath. It was worse now than before and he felt queasy again but sucked it up and dealt with it. He gathered up a cloth and put it where he could cradle the baby as it came. "You ready to push?"
