There was no pain involved when Turbo was nibbling his fingers, it tickled if anything, and he knew that the little ferret was just playing. "Hope so. Want him to know how happy we are to take him home with us." He hadn't ever figured he'd get attached to an animal like this, but he was, even if they had barely adopted him. The thought of leaving him in the shelter was just a little too much. He didn't want to think about it.
He knew a lot of the reason why it was so special was because of Navi. When she was happy, he was happy, and there was plenty of that going around at the moment. She was the reason behind all of this, even if she didn't realize it, and he was gad to have her.
He grabbed the books and slid out of the cab, glancing back at Navi, grinning that much more when she flew up the stairs, carrying the cage with her. He made the journey a quick one and unlocked the door, stepping into their apartment with her. "We should...I think he'll want to explore. We can ferret proof everything so he can run around." Of course he was already opening the box that the cage was in, eager to get it put together.
