"Very lucky. I don't mind spoiling him at all." Especially when it came to buying their ferret toys and other things to play with. Alec even knew you could take them walking, but he wasn't sure how well they were going to respond to that, it was something they'd all find out together.
He laughed a little, giving her hand a small squeeze. "You give me plenty of cardio work outs." Alec figured he'd let the fight go into the second round and then try and end it there. He was even planning something pretty spectacular, but he was going to wait for her t see it, rather than explain. "Closest thing I have to a manager, and definitely my motivation." He had coaches, of course, and he was a quick learner.
He could feel her bouncing in the seat next to him, and he knew exactly why, which made him grin. After they had turned the corner, he could see the shelter and he turned his head to look at her. She really was glowing, even if she didn't realize it. He moved out of the taxi right after she had, knowing that she wasn't going to be able to wait.
