"I wasn't too bad at her age. I was in college then, trying to rush through my courses so I could claim my father's legacy. I didn't really have a chance to be a kid like her." Which only brought up thoughts of his father, and how much he missed him and never got the chance to say goodbye. But then she was straddling him and she looked much happier than she had the entire night. Moments like this were the best reminders of why he'd chosen her. "I'll build him a new head then, and he can end up my arch nemesis." He plucked the ice pack away from them and tossed it to the floor out of the way, his hands going right to her hips.
