"She hates me...the one...person I thought would never hate me...." he murmured as he adjusted, now putting his face in the crook of her neck. It'd take him a few minutes before he quieted, his face and eyes red from tears as he sat up, wiping his eyes with the palms of his hands. He just didn't know what to do about this, and he only hoped that over time, she wouldn't think like that any more. He sat back, looking idly down at his torn stitches and pushed on the swollen flesh. He winced since it was tender all over again.
"If you are mad at me, please tell me. Because I did this...thinking I could fix it, but...I can't fix everything."
