Onyxx was thinking the same thing about how close their faces were. He recognized this moment as the moment in all the movies where one of the actors would lean in and kiss the other, but of course the problem here was that neither of them were actors and this wasn't a movie. He'd never been kissed or kissed anyone in his life, he had no idea how to kiss well. Plus he wasn't sure if she was feeling the same way, and he didn't want to ruin things or make them awkward because he really, really liked her.
Still, if 300 had taught him anything, it was that sometimes you had to man up and go for it. It was an odd movie to take advice for a romantic situation from, but as long as it was good advice, he figured it didn't matter where he got it. He rolled onto his side, one arm supporting him, and then leaned his head down and kissed her. It was hesitant and uncertain in method, but there was definitely a spark there. One hand, the one that wasn't already occupied with holding her hand, found its way to her side and came to gently rest there.
