"Little late," he revealed as he climbed out of the glyph. "Already tried stabbing myself. The knives break on my skin. Not wanting to try the electrocution, though. I'd feel pretty stupid if I wound up with internal injuries that the doctors can't operate on because their scalpels break on my skin. I think that's in Miriam's under 'irony'."
Once out, he ditched his shoes and unbuckled his belt. "Ye olde superhero trick," he explained, doffing his jeans to reveal blue trunks with orange flames up the sides. "Always wear your supersuit under your clothes," he chuckled, and then shrugged off the button-up shirt and pulled off the muscle shirt. "Ready at a moment's notice! That's the superhero scout's motto," he laughed, making an exaggerated arm pump with a wink.
