Normally Candy wouldn't even have gone to a party where she didn't know many people, but her bodyguards were starting to get on her last nerves. After class she slipped into her room to change out of her school uniform, changing into clothes she actually liked: simple jeans and a black t-shirt. She dropped by a convenience store to get a six-pack of soda, as she assumed it would be older people, and managed to lose her bodyguards down a back alley.
Once she arrived at the Winchester place (which was gorgeous, and almost reminded her of a trip she'd gone on with her mother to Washington D.C.), she rang the bell and blinked when a handsome older man opened the door.
"Hey, I'm Dean, c'mon in." He went to put her soda on ice, clearly relieved that the younger girl had brought something that wasn't beer; it was a good indicator she wouldn't try to drink. Candy thanked him, somewhat nervous, and started to walk around. She found the game room on her own by the loud sounds of talking and laughter, grinning when she saw Anne and Henry.
When she saw the women sitting with Henry, she blinked. They looked so much like Diamanda, Joephi and Mespa that it took her breath away. She couldn't help but approach them. "Um, excuse me." She smiled at Henry, then cleared her throat. "You wouldn't happen to be the Fantomaya, would you?"
