Who: Elle and Embry What: Date When: Sunday afternoon, after she's done with Eddie Where: By the lake for starters? Rating: TBA
Embry had given too much thought to this supposed date he was supposed to have with Elle. He had all the important details down and he was ready for the day to come. Of course, he hadn't talked to Elle even once since that night in the Astronomy Tower, he was hoping she was still interested in that date they had talked about.
With a note attached to meet him down by the lake around lunch time, Embry hunted down a younger Gryffindor student and paid the kid three sickles to give Elle a single yellow daffodil. He knew she said she didn't know a thing about flowers, but he had found it and thought it would contrast her just perfectly. He has no other creative way of getting the note to her.
After the note and flower had been sent off with the younger year, Embry made his way down to the kitchens to ask the House Elves for some picnicing supplies. They were gone for all of ten minutes before he was presented with a plaid quilt to sit on and a huge basket full of sweets and things to eat and drink, specifically asking for Treacle Tart as Edward Longbottom had tracked him down that morning and told him that if he wanted to see Elle again, he would have to impress her. Edward then went on to tell him that he was not at all happy about them even so much as looking at eachother, and, oh, by the way, you should know she likes Treacle Tart.
Soon enough, Embry was down by the lake, his mid-afternoon picnic all set up. Now all he had to do was wait for Elle to show up.
