Lax
I have been VERY lax about posting updates here, so I will put that right now.
Obviously the biggest news is Karl getting the part of Bones McCoy in the next Star Trek which I'm sure you've all heard about already. Filming started on that in early November and is still ongoing. No news yet on whether it's been delayed or run into problems because of the writers' strike.
There was a rumour a week or two ago that Karl was in talks for the part of Sabertooth to play opposite Hugh Jackman in the Wolverine film. Apparently talks there fell through (presumably due to Trek) and they are now talking with Gerard Butler instead.
Comanche Moon is finally set to screen in the US on Jan 13th 2008. The book has been re-launched with a new cover featuring Karl, Steve Zahn and (I think) Wes Studi.
No news on the film "Run" - apparently the director got landed in jail and as far as I know, shooting was never started and the project's been shelved. No release date for Black Water Transit, various rumours saying "sometime in 2008" or "sometime in 2009". My instinct says that one's been shelved too.
One things for sure. They won't dare shelve Trek, or delay it's release date...
