Who: Chas & Barty What: Remus Lupin must die? Where: Minister's Office. When: Thursday after this. Warnings: Probably not too high? IDK. Status: In Progress.
Moments after receiving the request in the journals from Barty, Chas was striding through the Ministry towards the Minister's offices. She hadn't even taken the time to clean up from what she was doing, though she didn't think Barty would much mind the drops of blood that stained her jeans, spotted her hands, and streaked in one spot down her neck. Her work could be messy at times, after all. At least any stains on her black shirt and leather jacket were invisible, if there were any.
Cleaning up, however, was less important than getting to the Ministry and the Minister as soon as possible. Promptness was always appreciated, especially if Barty was upset. And after what Remus Lupin had just pulled, the Minister would not be in the mood for waiting. Chas knew that still, even if she had barely seen him recently. Striding past the Minister's assistant, Chas knocked once on the door to his office, then nudged it open and stepped inside, clasping her hands in front of her with a polite nod and a firm, "As requested, boss." Her usual smirk was missing in his presence today, and she kept her thoughts to herself and out of her expression for once as she glanced over at him. She was determined to keep her thoughts on the business at hand, and not at all how much she just bloody loved it when Barty was angry or worked up or upset. He'd been avoiding her for a reason, after all. And if that was what he wanted, well... then she would try.
