Working in the department of the misuse of muggle artifacts had its pros and cons. On the one hand, it could actually be quite fun and since Shane always enjoyed Muggle things (including the classes), she was constantly interested and found new things every day. Well, most days. Some days were boring and seemed like a repeat of days already been lived. On the down side, the job could also be crazy with a not a moment of relaxation.
Today had just been boring. Papers were filled out and filed, a normal job was taken care of and a lot of time was spent trying to make a new spell behind a wall of books at her desk. Now that the work day was over, Shane was spending her quality time browsing the rows of books at Flourish and Blotts. If another boring day came up, she'd like to be able to have something new to read about and try. And of course there were always books for children and Elliot loved hearing stories.
With a coffee in hand, bag tossed over her shoulder (clothes in cute but light layers), Shane made her way around the stacks in the back of the store. There was already a pile of leather-bound pages in her free arm and her eyes were roaming over titles she hadn't yet seen. After all, she had no plans for the night, so what was the harm in spending hours at a book store?
