To my sister, she'd started to add, since she now knew exactly what had happened to Chastity to make her into the violent Death Eater she was today. After her sister had been forced to make an awful choice to protect herself, to protect both of them, and not having Patience properly at her side afterward the way she should have been -- which was not entirely Patience's fault, considering she'd been under the influence of a potion designed by the Death Eaters.
"Well," she said after a moment, with a small smile. "Let's just say it seems like almost a theme these days, people getting in over their heads and out of control. I'm starting to feel like I might have more of a grasp on everything, though."
She kept working until she'd smoothed the ointment into every cut that she could see, and then pulled her hands back. "Do you have any other injuries?"
