David's eyes widened as she told her story. "Bloody hell." He hugged her closer, picking her up off her feet a little. "I'm glad you're all right. Bloody hell." He wouldn't have been pleased at the idea of his wand breaking. That would have been a problematic issue. He let her back down on the floor and kissed her forehead.
"I think you're bloody crazy, but I'm glad you're not too hurt. Did you have your journals? You could have sent a message. Though, I suppose you would have if you'd had it." He shook his head. "You can tell me to shut up anytime. Honest."
