"Are you going to get boils on your face for telling us about it, then?" Kevin asked, a bit worriedly. He didn't see any boils rising on Dean's face, but maybe this didn't qualify as breaking that rule. He wouldn't know, though, considering he hadn't been a part of the group. "I mean, you already told us about it, but you hadn't told us about the coins yet."
Ooh, a protean charm. Kevin had always liked those. There was a similar charm on the journals, too - by 'changing' the journal (i.e. writing in it), it changed the journals that were connected through the privacy wards. "What sort of protean charm? Does it show words or numbers, or something else?"
Dean was a wealth of information about this sort of thing, really. Why hadn't Kevin known all these people in school? He felt that he should have, but it was too late for that now. "You should make a list of all the members written down, that you remember. If you know they're muggleborn, then we can include them, unless--" he paused as something else occurred to him. "Unless they managed to confiscate a coin from a muggleborn when they were captured? We really ought to make an initial contact first, probably with the journals. The coins would be an awesome way to communicate, but we need to account for all of them first."
