Pretty much the last thing Ginny had expected when she opened her journal was a note from Harry. When was the last time she'd heard from him? Ages, she was pretty sure... but that didn't stop her traitorous heart from doing that little skipping thing at the sight of his note to her.
With no practice or game today, Ginny had decided to make it a Pajama Saturday... her way of spicing up the fact that she had nothing else to do, really. It always explained why she was sitting around her apartment in her pajamas hours after she'd woken up. Why she was still doing so as she sat around, waiting for Harry's Patronus.
The moment it leaped into her apartment and she caught sight of that shining silver stag, Ginny was on her feet. If her heart wasn't in her throat just at the sight of it, it definitely was when she heard his voice. How long had it been since she'd heard his voice? Since that last time they'd met, months ago now. She hadn't even known he knew how to make a Patronus talk. But then again, she didn't know much about him these days.
Ginny had made sure no one was around as best she could, peeking out her window and the door of her flat, before listening to the rest of his message. There was no hesitation on her part. Even before the Patronus had started to fade away, she was hurrying into her bedroom to get changed. Well she couldn't exactly go to a meeting in her pajamas, could she?
Five minutes later, she was dressed in a pair of jeans and a long-sleeved shirt, with her gray winter coat on top along with her Gryffindor scarf and a pair of matching mittens. She paused just a second to make sure she had everything she needed, slipped her feet into her trainers, and disapparated. For whatever reason, she actually felt a little paranoid... a feeling she'd been having more and more lately, especially since the attack on the Ministry that had been blamed (she thought wrongly) on Harry. Whatever her motivations were, she made a point of apparating to several different points, hopefully throwing off any trails, before she finally arrived at the location Harry had specified.
Landing with a soft 'pop', she instantly glanced around, both anxious and hopeful for the sight of Harry.
