"You don't have men showering you with presents? I find that so hard to believe, with you being such a lovely woman," he said with a casual smile. He wasn't lying. She was quite lovely. He didn't think it was out of line to say that either, especially since he was always rather playful, even at work. "I'll have to change that. I'll make sure you have some sort of present come Monday. Nothing too extravagant though, just something to make you smile. It's always nice to see you smile," he explained further.
His arms crossed over his chest, smirking a bit. "That's funny. I was planning on getting food soon. I'm staying at Fletcher Parkinson's house right now...bloke never has food in his house. I think we all just get too sidetracked with work sometimes to remember to shop. I'm lucky enough to have sisters who remember to go grocery shopping, at least," he said with a chuckle. He didn't mind mentioning Fletcher. It was widely known that he followed Fletcher around almost like a puppy. It was his obliviousness that made it easy to understand. If he had his full mind to him, it'd make little sense to anyone but them.
"I have a few ideas. I'm terrible at shopping for girls and she has such lavish taste, it's hard to pick."
